Cityjet has announced that it will no longer operate from Manchester to Rotterdam.

A spokesperson for the airline said, ‘The route has become heavily loss-making and, in these tough economic conditions, we do not see that it will return to profitability in the foreseeable future.

We would like to thank all regular flyers who have supported the airline on this route over the years and to reaffirm that Cityjet still remains committed to its profitable operation from Manchester to the Belgian city of Antwerp.
